One of my favorite things about paper crafting is taking a simple structure and making it uniquely your own. In my latest tutorial, I created a charming folio using the beautiful Vintage Wonderland collection from Tina at Making and Creating’s Junk Journal Club.
While I love the soft vintage style of the Vintage Wonderland papers, what makes this project special is that the folio design can be adapted to work with virtually any paper collection or theme. Whether you love florals, vintage ephemera, seasonal papers, or bright modern designs, this simple folio is a wonderful way to showcase your favorite papers.
In the tutorial, I demonstrate how to create:
- A coin envelope-style pocket
- A journaling page that doubles as a side-loading pocket

This project is beginner-friendly while still offering plenty of opportunities to add your own creative touches.
I had so much fun creating this folio and experimenting with different ways to decorate the pockets and inserts. The Vintage Wonderland papers add such a lovely vintage feel, but don’t be afraid to use whatever papers you already have in your stash.
Sometimes the best projects are the ones that let the paper do the talking!
