Sometimes the best projects come from the scraps already sitting on our craft tables.
For my project for the Silver & Sparkles June Tiny Journal Challenge, I created a Tiny Journal in a Pocket using leftover papers, vintage-inspired embellishments, and bits and pieces from my stash. This little project is proof that you don’t need a lot of supplies to create something beautiful and functional.
The journal slides neatly into a decorated pocket and unfolds to reveal plenty of space for journaling, notes, favorite quotes, or treasured memories. I added tuck spots, journaling cards, tags, and decorative details to make each page interesting while keeping the construction simple and beginner-friendly.
One of my favorite things about this project is how easy it is to customize. Change the papers, colors, theme, size, or embellishments and you’ll have a completely different journal. It’s a wonderful way to use supplies you already own while creating something unique.
